Hotdrop is built to breathe.
We have two saunas and four cold plunges. We limit our numbers to ensure there is space to sweat without being shoulder to shoulder and plunge without queuing. When you are finished with your session there are six hot showers and ten change rooms ready and waiting.
Space is the whole point.
No crowding, no rushing — just room to move between hot and cold, at your own pace.
The Benefits
Your body works hard in the heat — heart rate rises, circulation improves, and over time, the effects stack up in serious ways.
Regular sauna use has been shown to reduce cardiovascular risk, ease muscle soreness, support deeper sleep, and boost mood through the release of endorphins.
The cold does something different. Ice bath immersion has been shown to significantly reduce muscle inflammation and soreness, sharpen mental focus through noradrenaline release, and build stress resilience over time. The contrast with heat amplifies the benefits of both.
Together, they make an effective tool for recovery, mental clarity, and long-term wellbeing.
The Sessions
A typical self guided session:
10–15 minutes in the sauna
1–3 minutes in the cold plunge
A few minutes to rest and breathe
Repeat
Go at your own pace, focus on your breathing, and listen to your body. Cold exposure is optional — beginners often start at 10–30 seconds and build from there. There's no right or wrong way to do it.
In a 50-minute session most people fit two to three rounds. In our longer sessions, you can slow down and really settle in.
Move slowly between temperatures and always prioritise how your body feels. Each session can be different. Just because you were able to enjoy 15 mins in the sauna alternated with 1 min in the cold plunge last time you visited, your body may need something different this time.
One session feels good, but once its a habit, that’s when the benefits will start to stack up. Better sleep. Faster recovery. A calmer, clearer head.
